Previous episode “Going Dutch”
Aidan and Bishop show the Dutch the blood den, where Bishop offers the Dutch each a woman to feed from, but the Dutch decide to suck all of them dry. Bishop reveals to Aidan that he knows that someone betrayed him and told the Dutch everything that has been happening in Boston, and Rebecca tells Aidan that she's disappointed that he's returned to Bishop. At work, Josh finds Nora and apologizes for disappearing, even though he cannot tell her the truth, just as Nora reveals that she is pregnant with Josh's child. Josh's fears about passing on the werewolf genes to the child cause him to upset Nora, who thinks that Josh is unsure of her faithfulness. When Josh finally sees Aidan, Aidan convinces him to accept the child as it brings him closer to having a human life. At the house, Sally watches Danny and Bridget visit with a woman who begins asking about the house. Sally believes that the woman is a real estate agent until the woman mentions an exorcism. Sally tries to fight the exorcist, but she is not strong enough. Marcus tries to align himself with the Dutch to take over Boston, but when that fails he tries to confide in Rebecca and reveals that he was the one who killed the children to frame Bernie. The Dutch reveal that they want Bishop to return with them after culling his family by two-thirds after they learn that he wants to bring vampires public. Josh finally manages to talk with Nora, saying that his amazement at her pregnancy was due to his family's bad genes and how he did not know if he could get anyone pregnant, and Nora also agrees that she was not sure if she could get pregnant for the same real reasons. At the house, Sally suffers from the continuing exorcism. When Bridget has qualms about what might happen to Sally's spirit once she is removed from the house, Danny takes her aside and tells the exorcist to continue. In a last ditch effort, Sally rushes the exorcist and possesses her, lashing out at Danny in the exorcist's body until he throws her against the wall, separating Sally from the exorcist. However, the exorcist has seen Sally's memories of her death and ends the ritual, saying that Danny deserves whatever Sally has in store for him. Bridget leaves Danny in the house, as an angry Sally stares at him with glassy eyes. Bishop holds a dinner for the Dutch, as both Aidan and Marcus abandon him, supporting the Dutch's requests. However, Bishop reveals that he had poisoned the Dutch by feeding the blood den women juniper, paralyzing the Dutch. He beheads three of them, leaving Hagemann for last until Aidan tries to save him. He leaves the funeral home and Marcus attacks him in support of Bishop, but he is staked through the heart by Rebecca, who helps Aidan and Hagemann escape. Hagemann warns Aidan that he must prepare for what is to come, and Rebecca asks Aidan to kill her, as she knows the vampires will want revenge for Marcus's death and how she knows that she was never meant to become a vampire. Aidan embraces her as he stakes her, putting her to rest.

After his close call with Emily, Josh is nervous about transforming inside the hospital so he goes back to the place he knows best: the woods.  The plan, however, seems like a bad one when he can’t find a place secluded enough to transform.  Even more upsetting, when he awakens in the morning, he finds one of the people he ran into in the woods watching him.

After the man tells Josh that he sucks at being a werewolf, Josh learns that the man’s name is Ray and he’s also a werewolf.  It turns out that Ray has been tracking Josh and wants to become friends and helpmates but Josh hates his werewolf self too much to accept another werewolf into his life.  When Aidan reminds Josh that he may need a supernatural support system, Josh gives Ray a try and the two quickly bond.

Unexpectedly, Rebecca returns to Aidan to ask for his help living a clean, non-predatory life.  Although he was eager to help her before, Aidan seems to have had a change of heart.  Rebecca plays on his guilt for putting her in this situation in the first place and he finally agrees.  Soon, they start dating and instead of keeping Rebecca clean, her raw, uncontrolled urges seduce him back towards the life of a typical vampire.

Now that Sally knows her best friend Bridget might be in Danny’s life, she can’t help but haunt both of their houses, watching helplessly as their relationship begins to blossom.  She hates the idea at first, and derails it by knocking over a wine glass at just the right moment, but after she talks to Aidan she sets about trying to bring them together so that both she and Danny can move on.
After Ray shows Josh the ropes of being a werewolf, Josh takes to him so much that he invites him to crash at the house—an arrangement that Aidan isn’t so sure about, especially since Ray seems to have some serious hate for any and all vampires.  Sally, however, likes Ray, especially since he helps her move objects by channeling her anger.

When the moon is almost full, Ray takes Josh to the secret vampire club that Aidan sometimes frequents and, after Ray starts an unnecessary fight, Josh ends up using his wolf-strength to beat up Marcus, Bishop’s right-hand man.  Ray is proud of him but Josh is worried about the strange path that Ray is leading him down.
Meanwhile, Sally finds that she is sometimes able to communicate with the living, a gift she uses to tell Bridget that she’s okay with her and Danny dating.  As Danny and Bridget come together, Aidan loses Rebecca.  As he explains how they can live clean, she vanishes into the night without a goodbye or an explanation.

About the show:
Being Human is a supernatural drama television series broadcast on Space in Canada and on Syfy in the U.S. It is being produced by Muse in Montreal and is based on the British show of the same name made by the BBC.

A werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost try to live together and get along.

Husband-and-wife team Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke were tasked with adapting the British series for North American television. Carver said that he and Fricke hoped "to use elements of the original series while reimagining a series all of our own. I think that starts with many of the new characters and storylines that we created. I think you're going to see a show that gives a very nice nod to the original version." Carver and Fricke also stated their intention to retain the original program's dark and morally ambiguous qualities.

At the beginning of the first 13-episode season, the program will roughly follow the narrative arc of the first season of the British original. However, since that season was only 6 episodes long, the North American program will also develop new stories and arcs. Some similar elements will also develop in a different manner; Carver said, "We explore these moments and what the characters experienced in the British version and say to the writers, 'What if we do this differently?'" However, elements of the directorial style of the first two episodes followed the original pilot and first regular episode of the UK series, in some cases shot-for-shot.

One explicit tribute to the British series is the name of the vampire, Aidan; the character is named after Irish actor Aidan Turner, who plays the vampire Mitchell in the original series. The other main characters in the North American version at first appear to correspond to their British counterparts (werewolves Josh and George, ghosts Sally and Annie, vampire leaders Bishop and Herrick), but actor Sam Witwer was keen to stress the differences between the characters in the two programs: "These are not the same characters. ... There are a lot of similarities, but for example, Bishop is not Herrick. Not in the slightest. He's not the same guy.
Being Human is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates: A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.

"Being Human is a smart, contemporary, young and imaginative series that reflects Syfy's new brand positioning. We are very excited to adapt this for an American audience and bring it into Syfy's family of programming," said Dave Howe, President, Syfy.

The series will star Sam Witwer (Smallville, Battlestar Galactica), Meaghan Rath (The Assistants), Sam Huntington (Cavemen, Superman Returns) and Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural).

Rounding out the creative team is Adam Kane (The Mentalist, Heroes) as director and co-executive producer, with executive producer Michael Prupas (The Kennedys, Pillars of the Earth) alongside husband and wife executive producers/writers Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) and Anna Fricke (Men in Trees, Everwood).
